This is a small store that is great for saving money on groceries! They offer a wide variety of organic and gourmet groceries as well as dairy, produce, and health and beauty products at 50% to 80% off of retail prices. I don't shop there very often, but I have enjoyed the trips that I have made.

Bargains, Bargains Everywhere..... Oh where to begin!

Having more time these days than money - I am sharing with my friends this special bargain lover's treasure!

It is a place called The Bargain Food Store and there are many bargains, if you are willing to take the time to look. This large store is located in Pelzer, SC and takes about an hour from Hartwell, GA. The store is about the size of a small Walmart.

I find many of the items that are at The Bargain Food Store are similar to Whole Foods Market - but at 25% of the Whole Foods price.  The stock changes daily - so it you find something you like -- buy it when you see it.

This store is open Monday- Saturday from 8am-8pm.

This dance we call life....

I find it a happy challenge that we enter into each day... we encounter new friends, old friends and family. Each presents a variety of discussions and problems. It is like we take a step forward and a step backward.... like dancing!

Sometimes you get to lead, but sometimes you have to follow in the conversation. The give and take is what makes it so interesting!
